The hammock helps you move in ways that may feel different from a traditional yoga or fitness class, giving you more space to build strength, mobility, flexibility, and body awareness.
You do not need aerial experience to begin. Our instructors guide you step by step so you can feel safe, supported, and comfortable as you learn.

Intro to Aerial Yoga
Best for: First-time students or anyone new to aerial hammock movement.
What you’ll work on: Hammock basics, supported stretches, simple poses, body awareness, balance, and beginner-friendly movement.
Experience needed: None.
What to know: This is the best place to begin if you are new to aerial yoga. Your instructor will help you get comfortable using the hammock and guide you through movements at an approachable pace.

What you’ll work on: Supported yoga poses, gentle inversions, mobility, core engagement, balance, transitions, and deeper stretching with help from the hammock.
Experience needed: Beginner-friendly. Intro to Aerial Yoga may be helpful if you are brand new.

No. Intro to Aerial Yoga is designed for beginners, and our instructors will guide you step by step. If you are brand new, this is the best place to start before moving into more advanced aerial classes.

Some aerial yoga classes may include gentle inversions, but your instructor will explain the movement and help you understand your options. Modifications may be offered depending on the class level.

Wear fitted, comfortable clothing that covers the backs of your knees and underarms. Leggings and a fitted top are recommended. Avoid loose or baggy clothing, jewelry, zippers, buttons, or anything that could snag the hammock. You may also want to bring a sleeved layer if your top does not cover under your arms.
